Gladstone's Room
Dark polished oak panels the floor and walls. The three pieces of furniture - single bed, tall dresser, and writing desk - are likewise dark oak. As the inhabitant of the room is hardly accustomed to using, let alone owning, miscellaneous decorative artefacts, there are few precious keepsakes lying around. He keeps several legal pads, a stack of documents, and a few ballpoint pens on his desk. On top of his dresser, however, and arranged in no particular order on a piece of velvet, are his trophies. Most of the items hold no value, either fiscal or aesthetic, but keep memories of glorious victories, respected comrades in the arena, and peers who died far too early.
