Appearance:
Playby: Beyonce Knowles
Jasmine stands at about 5'10, and due to often wearing high-heeled shoes, she is used to being taller than most and has a confident body language, including always walking and sitting with her back straight. She is slightly underweight and has had people ask her if she eats enough, which may be relevant, as she is pressured into fitting the 'perfect' beauty ideals due to her job.
Her hair is naturally almost black and quite curly, but it is dyed a few shades lighter and almost always straightened. She will also never be seen out in public without makeup. Her clothing usually stays close to the current fashion trends, although it is far more common to see her wearing a skirt or a dress than pants.
Personality:
Jasmine always seems to be confident and acts as though she rules the world. Despite that, she is very empathic and is able to understand the emotions of other people easily, and will never act rudely towards someone who is upset unless they have done something to anger her. Upsetting or angering her can be either near impossible or shockingly simple, depending on a person's relationship with her. When it comes to people she doesn't know too well, she tries harder to make a good impression and is therefore much more patient, but with close friends and people she cares about, she can snap at a moment's notice because she expects them to just put up with it.
One of Jasmine's flaws is how easily she gives in to pressure. She is not in any way a leader, and has problems standing up for herself if she disagrees with someone. In a conflict, she will often be the first to back off and later apologize, although she prefers to avoid conflicts and arguments by just agreeing with whoever she may be arguing with in the first place. At times of conflict, however, she will still act politely and pretend not to be angry in order to not upset anyone. Her opinions and feelings are therefore often kept bottled up, although she lets them out by gossiping and complaining to people not involved, whether they want to hear or not.
Some have called her two-faced because she can't keep a secret and acts like a completely different person in groups than she does when dealing with just one person at a time. Although she does so subconsciously, she has a tendency to keep people at a safe distance to keep herself from getting hurt, and is therefore able to cut anyone out of her life if she feels that something is wrong.
History:
Jasmine was born into a fairly normal family consisting of a mother, father and two older brothers, and they had a decent economy and lived in a small house in the suburbs. She went to the local public school and had grades that were just below average in all classes except gym and science, as she excelled in both those subjects. At the age of 14, she was offered a small modeling job for some jeans company, and she continued doing these odd jobs until she was discovered by a larger company which he has been working for since.
During her second year of high school, her boyfriend at the time who was three years older than her tried to force her to have sex with him. This caused her to freak out, and while she tried to push him off, she accidentally shifted into a lioness for the first time. The boy was badly hurt and ended up in the hospital, but the wounds of his body were deemed to have been caused by an animal, so Jasmine was never a suspect.
Since then, she has tried to find out what caused this change, and is terrified of losing her temper in case she transforms again. However, the discovery of others like her has made it easier for her to feel like she fits in, even though the experience with her boyfriend has left her a bit more suspicious even of them.
Relationships:
Jasmine has had several relationships in her life, but only two have ever been serious. The first was with her high school boyfriend who attempted to rape her, and the second is one she got out of just a month ago.
Other:
She is extremely self-conscious about her appearance, and even the slightest snide remark about it can cause her to try to stop eating for days. [/ul]

Robin giggled lightly as she was placed down on the ground, then responded to his comment by simply sticking her tongue out in a rather childish fashion since she couldn’t think of a suitable retort. She didn’t particularly care if he thought it was childish either, since they had known each other since before they could walk properly and he’d probably seen her do much sillier things during the years that had passed since then. It was honestly quite relieving to have someone she felt so completely comfortable being around; her best friend (except Alexis, of course), someone she could lean on and, although it wasn’t something she was quite so public about, her first love. If she hadn’t still been close to him, she was pretty sure she’d have regretted it. A lot. After all, who else would get her out of trouble as happily as he did?
Robin noticed his eyes widen for a moment and was about to ask what it was, but as soon as she blinked, he seemed to be back to normal. Maybe it had just been a trick of the light, then. After all, it was hard to be sure what she really saw in a room lit only by stars and moonlight, and even if she hadn’t been wrong, she doubted it had been a very big deal. She then noticed him looking down at the floor, and her eyebrows arched slightly, but the reappearance of his grin caused her to let go of any silly worries. For a moment, she actually found herself a tiny bit intimidated by the expression on his face as he walked towards her, but the moment he reminded herself that it was still just Remus, she smiled crookedly and simply waited for him to laugh first. There was no way he could keep this up for too long.
She was soon proven to be right, of course, but in the meantime, he had placed his hands on either side of her and she found herself very close to him, their faces inches away from each other. He only kept that act up for another three seconds or so, but in a way, it had felt longer. As he pushed away from her again, however, she soon started laughing as well. He had just been acting, and she knew that perfectly well, so there was no reason to overanalyze anything. She wasn’t the kind of person to do that anyway, since that meant she would spend too long thinking as opposed to actually doing something. No, she could overthink this later, while lying in bed and just about to fall asleep. Then, there really would be nothing better to do, and she’d be a lot more thoughtful anyway. And forget about the thoughts the next day, most likely, which was just a bonus
.
”You almost scared me again, you know,” she replied, pouting for a second. That was true, but it wasn’t really scaring as in frightening but more as in making her wonder about a couple of things. ”Sirius is a bad influence on you, Remus. I really don’t think you should talk to him,” she then said, but couldn’t help herself from bursting into giggles. Sirius was a bad influence on pretty much everyone, but she couldn’t imagine not hanging out with him – and certainly not one of the Marauders no longer talking to him because he was a ‘bad influence’. That would just be a little bit too silly. ”Just kidding. I love the guy, you know that.” That was a statement she meant absolutely nothing by, but as she said it, she realized she could probably have chosen the wording a little differently. After all, they had dated less than a year ago, so it sounded a bit odd to use words like love even though she meant it platonically.
Thankfully, Remus changed the subject back to what he was actually doing here, and by the time he got around to mentioning the score of their little game, the mildly uncomfortable feeling in her stomach had disappeared. ”It’s you three, me two points,” she said as he finished speaking , crossing her arms over her chest as she pouted again. ”From sneaking up on you at breakfast and when you spilled out the contents of your cauldron in Potions last week, remember?” She knew it wasn’t really a big deal at all, and she wasn’t technically sure if he had actually been scared or even surprised that morning at the breakfast table, but she felt like it should count anyway just because, well, she’d certainly tried.
”And you wouldn’t take points from us poor badgers,” she then said, realizing that he’d said something about it almost being curfew. ”At least not from me. Because then I’d hit you.” Her tone was completely matter-of-factly simply because that was exactly what she would do, and she was quite sure he knew that. That would probably be enough reason to take more points from her, but then she’d hit him again, and they’d have some kind of evil circle going. Anyway, she didn’t think he’d actually punish her anyway, since he never did with the Marauders and she liked to think she’d also get at least some special treatment for being his friend.

She lowered her right arm as she brushed a strand of now very wet hair out of her face, her head tilted slightly to the left. ”Are you meeting your latest girlfriend, perhaps?” she asked, now with a teasing tone in her voice. As far as she knew, he didn’t have a girlfriend at the moment, but these things were subject to change. Her last relationship had lasted a grand total of two months, although the boyfriend had apparently not taken even those two very seriously since he had cheated on her after just one. She didn’t care much, though, as she wasn’t a particularly romantic person at all and relationships usually weren’t very important to her. In fact, she would probably have given up on them entirely if it wasn’t for that she kind-of liked feeling like someone belonged to her. It was a very cynical way of thinking about it all, of course, but she was a cynical young woman as well. Of course, having someone else – namely Scorpius - to turn to even when she wasn’t seeing someone helped her consider this ‘love’ thing utterly insignificant. It was a nice little arrangement, this thing they had; no commitment, no pressure, no silly emotions getting in the way. Best of all, it didn’t make things awkward between them either. All of that couldn’t stop the rain from pouring, though, and just as she looked away from Scorpius for a moment, the first bolt of lightning flashed through the sky.[/ul]
