I'm probably going out on a limb here, and you will probably all consider me completely nuts / completely dangerous, but I'm wildly in love with German industrial metal. I'm not German, but I want to learn the language (slash, am teaching myself German) because I think it's a beautiful language.
As I slowly expand my vocabulary, I'm moving beyond metal to other, more lyrical German groups. The following bands (and singles) are quite good...
Rammstein - "Du hast", "Ich will", "Links 2-3-4", "Mutter", "Reise, reise", "Engel", "Amerika", "Stirb nicht vor mir" OOMPH! - "Gott ist ein popstar", "Bis zum schluss", "Wer schoen sein will muss leiden", "In deinen hueften", "Du luegst" ASP - "Ich will brennen" Subway to Sally - "Feuerkind", "Kleid aus rosen", "Sieben" Unheilig - (they're good but I don't really adore anything in particular of theirs)
Staubkind - "Schlaflied" Farin Urlaub - "Dusche", "Lieber staat"
If you like Rammstein music, you ought to try Eisbrecher stuff. A lot of people think their style is similar. I never fell in love with Eisbrecher but most Rammstein fans I know are also Eisbrecher fans, so eh, give it a try...

I have wanted to learn German and even go over there as well. I listen to some music of it. ( Bands only) I will give some of these a go. ~ So I searched them all up and Rammstein was like wow! This picture though, scared me Creepy It's great how you got into other culture like that by music.
