I'm jealous of everyone's insanely awesome character profiles, so I'm revamping Peach's. Forgive me if this is the most pathetic thing you've ever seen. I tried.
Sweet as a peach. Fierce as a wolf.

IN DEPTH[/u]
body
Due to the appearance of her 'shift species, Peach has a sleek body and wiry muscles beneath her dark skin. She's tall and quick with long, awkward limbs.
face
The pressure of society is a never-ending torrent in Peach's opinion. She wears make-up just to please the other celebrities or high officials she meets, secretly hoping to find the perfect man as well. Long mascara-covered lashes frame her brown eyes, making her usually dull gaze seem much more intense. If she feels the need to, she will wear blush or concealer, but she feels comfortable in her pock covered skin. She still has a few blemishes from her years as a teenager and a bad habit of picking at pimples. Very rarely will she wear eyeshadow or lip gloss.
attire
Around the Origin Apartments, Peach enjoys simple clothing (a plain green tank top and denim cut-offs), because she will often get down and dirty with her dogs. When she steps off her property, she feels that she has to dress to impress. She loves dressing chic and modern - the styles of this modern age truly fascinate her.
fur
When she's wild, Peach has a light brown pelt, fading to orange and white in some areas. Her fur is long and soft. She's much broader than if she were in her human form, clearly because her bones and muscles are more pronounced. Her eyes are the same brown as that of her human eyes and framed by the same dark lashes.
personality
Peach is usually a sweet girl. She tries her hardest to be nice to everyone and it's no secret that she loves helping people. She has a toleration for all sorts of habits, though some rub her the wrong way more so than others. She can get frustrated (whether it be at herself or others) at the worst, but these moments tend to pass. Her frustration often comes in the form of a sarcastic remark or a rude snap.
Responsibility, loyalty and leadership have always been in her blood. She embraces the animalistic traits she has, therefore making herself someone that many others look up to. She is still humble and ethical, but she has her opinions and will be likely to share them when need be.
Perhaps it was some forgotten thing that happened in her past or even in another life, but Peach dislikes being touched inappropriately or trapped in any enclosed space. She feels that her discomfort in tight spaces is silly and bears it to her best ability. When forced into a situation she feels uncomfortable in, she will 'shift and bite anyone who is close enough. She does not deal well with panic or her own phobias.
Although she is not completely street-smart, she is very learned academically. She grew up as the awkward nerd and has spent more than her fair share of hours learning. She really enjoys astrology, learning everything about animals, English and art.
history
Up until the age of sixteen, Peach was living with her parents, two older sisters and one younger brother. As a child, life was sweet. She was usually given what she wanted, but she was also raised to understand that not everything in life was free. Her parents wanted her to be humble and realistic. Later in life, she realized that their path of thinking ended up making her who she was.
Once she had become a teenager, things began changing for Peach, as they do. The awkwardness of puberty made her curl into herself a bit more and soon she was a loner, thought of as weird or flighty. She told no one that she was experiencing hallucinations and dizzy spells. These were the first signs of her shifting habits.
At fifteen, she had her first shift. She was at a local arcade, playing a karate game. Her continuous low scores made her frustrated and she kicked the machine hard. Her foot twisted painfully and she cried out in pain. There were a dozen other kids in the arcade, but they were at the other end of the room and all shouting over a new high score.
Red and crying, Peach crawled to a back door and out into the evening air, gasping for breathe. She felt hot, as if she couldn't breathe and as if her head was full of elephants. This lasted for about six minutes, with her screaming into the concrete. When the pain subsided, she was panting heavily. Her vision was sharper, she could hear the rattling heart beats of the children inside and she could smell a cigarette burning a mile away.
Scared and confused, she stumbled home, fell asleep and dreamed of caribou and moose. She awoke as a human and did not shift again until seven months later, two days before her sixteenth birthday. She ran as far as she could, afraid that she would hurt her family or some innocent person. Her feet carried her for hours before she collapsed in the forests, exhausted.
After that second time, Peach did not keep her shifting to herself. She grew curious and began searching for others like herself. With the help of three other shifters she found in the woods, she was able to find more and soon had a network planned. They all wanted a place to be safe and free, without looking like outcasts. It was a longing they all shared equally.
With a natural leadership in her blood, Peach took charge. She established a small business (with loans from her 'shifter friends and the bank, of course), which soon grew as she received more donations, sponsorship and government funding. The actual shifting abilities are still a secret. Many people think that the business is for overweight and underweight outcasts, a facility where they can diet and exercise together. In actual fact, this living service is growing every day.
This business, still growing, was a stressful hobby for Peach. She had built it as a safe haven, but it did not always feel that way for her. She wanted to get out and see more of the word, having been inspired to establish her company before doing one of the few things she had ever wanted to do - explore the world.
Three years before this present day, she left the apartment to her best friend and set out for Europe alone. The entire trip ended up being blurred and confusing. She could only recall getting drunk her first night in England and later running through some ferns. It was, by far, the most mysterious three months of her life and she often wonders what happens. Her friend agreed that before she left and after she came back, there was a visible difference about her.
TRIVIA[/u]
relationships
As far as she can remember, Peach has only ever been in four relationships.
The first was during freshman year in high school, but ended when her boyfriend cheated on her with one of her friends. The relationship had been dull anyway.
The second was with a boy, new to her high school. For some strange reason, Peach had the strongest urge to befriend him. They quickly hit it off and soon started dating. She was fifteen at the time and would've happily stayed with him had she not shifted.
The third was with a sparrow 'shifter she met in the forest during her second shift. He was a sweet man, almost twice her age, but caring and gentle. He was the one that continuously pushed her in the right direction. Unfortunately, he disappeared one morning. Peach assumes he got eaten by a cat, but she can't be sure.
The fourth was silly and short. It all occurred overseas and Peach can't remember her well.
Occupations:
CEO of MyShape Inc., manager of Origin Apartments, supervisor of Verge Apartments and main editor of Shift magazine.
residence
Origin Apartments
pets
Peach has two dogs called Brice (Border Collie) and Fiona (Collie). They were both given to her by 'shifters she's taken care of in the past. She loves them both to pieces, but let's them wander the Origin estate alone. She trusts them to stay safe.
likes
Peach likes running bare foot, the smell of trees, rain, warm sunshine, chasing butterflies with her dogs, responsibility, sausages, singing, writing about shifting and her experiences, sleeping and being asked for help. She enjoys having fun without harming the environment, but will willingly give up her own free time to help someone else.
dislikes
Peach hates ignorant people, people who wear fur, poachers, violence, animal cruelty and showing her stomach (it's a self preservation thing).
hobbies
Writing poetry and stories, photography, jogging, singing, editing her small magazine and helping others.
Other:
-In her magazine (Shift), Peach models clothing that is comfortable and durable. It would seem these clothes are designed specifically for 'shifters, because they are hard to break. She gets these clothes cheap and gives them out at birthdays and special occasions.
SAMPLE
Beneath the dark canopy of the evergreens, Peach's footfalls were soft. Damp leaf litter silenced her steps, making the hunt more efficient. She could smell them in the air, bouncing like the innocent little creatures they were and panting as they chased each other in circles. Oh, they would not be expecting her today. Today she was at a meeting, explaining to the president why she needed more funding. No play today.
Get ready... HYAAH! With a terrific howl, she leaped from her hiding spot and onto the back of Brice, her Border Collie. The young dog collapsed underneath her weight and yelped, reaching out frantically for Fiona, his best friend.
Of course, it was just play. He understood that. The inviting smell of a bagel still clung to Peach's fur, making him pant hungrily. He had not eaten this morning.
Vigorously, Peach began licking the fur between Brice's ears. She considered this a fur-noogey. Her rough pink tongue brought the little strands of hair to stand on end and, once she was finished, she stepped off him to admire her work. It looked good. A Mohawk would suit Brice marvelously.
Fiona walked up beside Peach and nudged her affectionately. A silent agreement was passed between them and a quiet, whining hello. They both watched Brice stand up shakily - Fiona with her tail wagging and Peach with a wolfy smile of her face.
